The position of Manager Court Services requires a self-starter who thinks strategically to solve problems facing the courts’. As a member of Court and Tribunal Services management, the person appointed to the position will support the Director Court Services in continuous improvement initiatives while working collaboratively to ensure service excellence and identify and implement further service improvements.
The role of Manager Court Services responsibilities include:
- leading and developing teams of client service staff, associates, deputy associates, legal associates, case coordinators and court officers to ensure high quality services and support to clients, legal practitioners, the judicial officers of the Courts, registrars, family consultants and the community groups which support the Courts
- managing the Courts operations including scheduling of events and providing reports on case management indicators
- providing strategic advice and statistical reports to the Case Management Judge and the registry management team in relation to trends and issues associated with registry operations and trends and issues associated with the operation of the Courts distinct case management systems
- managing change in a challenging and fast moving environment
- developing and maintaining positive, productive and collaborative relationships with the judiciary, the legal profession and community groups
- ensuring the policies and standards of the Courts are promoted and maintained, and
- managing resources within the Court’s financial and human resourcing policies.
